Intel is pledging $1 million in support of efforts to address social injustice and anti-racism across various nonprofits and community organizations. In February 2021, Intel updated its pledge to include a commitment to donate $5M over the next five years to North Carolina Central University (NCCU), a historically Black college and university (HBCU), to create a new tech law and policy center. The company, additionally plans to spend $250 million (annually) with U.S. Black-owned suppliers by the end of 2023.
